Descaling Valve

The Oilgear Towler Decaling valve and the Isolation valve are of the ACTIVE LOGIC ELEMENT design and both use common components to include:

• Sleeve (cage)
• Poppet (valve)
• Seat

The Oilgear logic element type descale valve is designed with a controlled valve opening and closing as a prerequisite for modern descale systems. The simple adjustment allows optimization of the descale valve and system to minimize fluid shocks. A replaceable and reversible soft poppet seat with a replaceable hard mating seat combine to offer greater tolerance to seat damage and wear, while reducing downtime turnaround. The pneumatic or oil actuated pilot valve utilizes replaceable ceramic seats to promote reliabilty in a key area of valve function with the added benefit of the valve reverting to a normally closed condition in the event of electrical or pilot supply loss.

Descale System Modules

Oilgear engineers the descale valve, pump bypass or auto shut off system into a single block or manifold complete with the associated stop valves, choke pack, filtration, check valves or prefilling system. The descale module provides the opportunity to customize port positions/locations specific to your system, reducing the interconnecting pipework and simplifying layout. Manifolds are electroless nickel plated with stainless steel wear surfaces and can be supplied with flanges to ANSI or DIN. Additionally, we can offer the Oilgear standard in-house designed flange which offers the same flow and pipe compatibility in smaller dimensions, giving a smaller overall module package.
