Olmsted Products Co., a division of the Oilgear Company, has been designing and manufacturing quality high-flow, high-pressure valving with flows in excess of 10,000 GPM and pressures in excess of 6,000 PSI for over forty years. Isolates the accumulator(s) from the compensating cylinder(s) on motion compensator systems for offshore drilling rigs and drillships in case of emergency or scheduled operations	Shuts off or throttles the flow from the accumulator to the tensioning cylinders of drilling riser tensioning systems.	A valve that is as efficient as a pipe elbow, designed and manufactured only by Olmsted Products.
Features sensing unit to sense a drop in pressure in either the cylinder or accumulator line and rapidly close the main poppet, flow efficient body, high maximum working pressures, low temperature and DNV/ABS certifications, various mounting capabilities, numerous control options.	Features resistance to long term silting, nearly instantaneous closure upon triggering, rapid and proportional response when throttling, minimal long term leakage, operation is readily testable on regular basis, can function with less than ideally clean fluid, field replaceable controls and filters, DNV/ABS certifications.

Engineered Solutions

Olmsted Products control systems can provide overall control and management of our valve systems based upon an operational and control philosophy statement provided by the customer. Our systems can include enhanced redundancy. Duplicate wiring, I/O and functionality can be provided from both primary and secondary PLC processors. The primary PLC processor will handle all required I/O for the system.
